I Get a Present*
This is only sort of food related. My mom’s friend from Osaka is visiting and her daughter sent me these little keychain toys.
The one on the left is supposed to be the tag off a cardboard box. The one on the right is a soybean/edamame. You can rip off the tag and push out the edamame…forever. Watch the vid to see how they work. She also brought a kitchen appliance by request for me.

someone was just telling me about the Philadelphia show- you watch it too? how is it? i’m currently pretty obsessed with tv- Mad Men, Gossip Girl, 30 Rock and Ugly Betty. what else should i watch?
FYI this was like the 4th take I develop a speech impediment every time my voice is being recorded. Actually I don’t really like the show but my sister is absolutely obsessed with it. I think the titles are so hilarious though. “Charlie Got Molested” “The Gang Gets Racist”

Love the edamame one! It’s like endless bubble wrap! Probably illegal in America because some kid would choke on it.
Ila – I had to look up what that was but it looks the same! This one has a little face on it though. It is actually enjoyable even though I don’t actually like poking out the beans on real edamame. Because I’m lazy.
