Lobster Roll Revisited

by Jones

I’m not making any judgements, but I just wanted to submit this photo for your consideration. $9.99 at Red Hook Fairway gets you a lobster roll (with celery, onions, and mayo), chips, cole slaw, a pickle, and a nice view from your picnic table.

(This has been written about lots of places, although apparently the price keeps rising. I post this only as a possible tasty alternative to schlepping to Sheepshead Bay.) Long live the lobster roll!

Seems like a great value, and looks like it has an abundance of lobster meat. Although in my opinion celery and onions make it a lobster salad roll, whereas a pure lobster roll is lobster meat with either mayo or butter, and minimal seasoning such as sea salt.
