Vegemite Rainforest Picnic, AU

A couple weeks ago in Australia, Jack and I had a picnic in the Daintree Rainforest near the Great Barrier Reef, a stunning spot where the rainforest meets the sea. Along with our sandwiches we tried some Australian specialties: Tim Tam cookies and vegemite spread. I liked the former, and here’s what I had to say about the latter:

    hilarious! i love the candid nastiness reaction. Leonard Lopate called Vegemite an “umami speed ball”. shit, i forgot to try it at the party last night!!! save me some, dude.

    Yum! I love vegemite. Just a little spread on a toast with butter is the best combo! My friend thought it was chocolate and put a lot on a toast, can you imagine eating vegemite while your brain thinks it is chocolate?
